It Is Finished...Almost

Just when you think you can close the door on a project...But who am I kidding? Our projects always pan out this way! It's always something. Today's "something" means another trip (the third) to Home Depot to get the right hinges. Third time's a charm, right? Let's hope so, in our case.

Anyway, here are some pictures of our (uncompleted) project to tide you over for the actual reveal that will be nicely staged without blankets underneath, toys in the background, or Sex and the City on TV. Enjoy!

Oh, and for those of you that noticed the misspelling of the word “peak” in the title of the last post, kudos to you for noticing and politely keeping quiet! I thought about it before, during, and after I wrote it. I even thought about it while I went to bed that night. I was just too excited to get another post up to care...

Ken and I have been working really hard on a project over the last three weekends. It involves a little bit of this:

That's Old Top (on the right) giving us her most "I'm-miserable-I-can't-believe-this-little-rat-is-laying-on-my-own-bed-before-I-can-get-there-but-I'll-show-her-by-laying-here-too" face. Unfortunately for Old Top, the little one just gets cozier. She's a pack dog, loves the company, and is oblivious to Old Top's disgruntlement.

The Time Has Come

It's time. I have put off starting this blog long enough. It's something I have been wanting to do for about a year now. Since my sister has jumped on the bandwagon, I suppose I will to. Besides, I am unavailable to the world through facebook so those close to me can keep up with me and mine here.

I'm not sure how often or what I'll post about (maybe this will be my one and only post - wouldn't that be sad?) because I don't have a solid idea that I want the blog to revolve around. I just know that I am obsessed with the blog world and hope to be one of those lucky gals that gets to make it her fulltime job!

And become famous. Very famous.
