Makeover Time!

This weekend I signed myself up for a Nars Makover at Sephora. Nars is a brand of makeup and I was in the market for some new makeup anyhow. I've used their bronzer before but wanted to walk away with something different. Here I am before I went, sans makeup:

And here I am walking away with "something different":

That's a lot of makeup, isn't it? I wound up purchasing The Multiple in Orgasm (...I know. But it's upposedly their most universal color that flatters everyone), a makeup brush to apply said orgasm (...I know...), some primer, and lipgloss in Turkish Delight. I even got a free gift! It was a bit dinky if you ask me (only a small thing of sparkly black eyeliner) in comparison to the free gift I got from Estee Lauder the other day when I bought a tube of face lotion. $45 at Estee Lauder gets you two free lipsticks, two eyeshadows, toner, face wash, and a jar of wrinkle-fading face lotion (much needed for my forehead wrinklies). And a sweet makeup bag. Boo Sephora! Boooooo......
My parents waited patiently for me while I was getting dolled up at Sephora. Because I was taking so long, they wound up purchasing a new wedding band for my dad (it was a total steal and totally him). Not bad when you're trying to pass the time, right? What other choice did they have but to get it? I certainly wasn't coming out any time soon. Plus, they were hungry. The best decisions are always made when your tummy is talking. Just kidding! Love the ring and I'm happy for them!

And here I am the next day, made-under but still madeover with my new makeup:

What do you guys think? No makeup, too much makeup, or just enough?

Just who was that grayheaded old woman in that picture? Not to mention the handsome devil helping to set off your fresh makeup.
